The UKCBC is very proud to announce… we’ve won a Bronze Award for best ‘Website: School, Education or Charity’ at the Essex Digital Awards (EDA) 2016! The event was held on Thursday 14th April 2016 (in Association with Essex Chronicle) and took place at Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester.

Our EDA 2016 award means so much to us, and we are delighted to have won. The award is an excellent mark of achievement and recognition for our website!

There were 18 categories in total at EDA 2016, covering a wide range of online achievements, including ‘Responsive Website’, ‘Mobile App’, ‘Use of Social Media for Business’ and many more.

Here’s a shot with this year’s winners. If you want to see more photos of the event, visit the complete album on our Facebook page, or take a look at our fellow winners here.

Our Bronze Award for best ‘Website: School, Education or Charity’ reflects the progress in building a responsive website design that better facilitates our users, and most importantly our students, who visit the site on different devices.

This award comes from a lot of hard work and dedication from many people across multiple teams, and while we are happy to celebrate it, we also want to keep on improving our website to make it better, and perhaps next year, we might get a Silver or Gold Award!

We would love to hear from you about our latest success, or anything else for that matter! Send us a tweet at @ukcbc or like us on Facebook for more posts and updates.
