Why Study the BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year)?

The Accounting and Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year) bachelor’s degree has been designed by qualified accountants who have experience in the big four accounting firms. Students will be learning the skills they need to compete in the high end of the job market. The optional modules also ensure students can direct their learning towards their chosen career specialisation.

The course has also been developed with input from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA); this means that students looking to gain professional body accreditation will enjoy exemptions from ACCA examinations.

The Accounting and Finance bachelor’s degree at UKCBC also includes an integrated foundation year to ensure students are well prepared for the academic challenges of the course. There are two modules in the foundation year geared towards the individual needs of students; these modules will enable students to understand and address their academic shortcomings before the three-year programme begins.
