No Qualifications? You Can Start a Degree Today!
The problem: you want to get a raise, earn a promotion, or change your job but you don’t have a degree. What’s more, you don’t have the A-levels or BTEC qualifications needed for degree entry requirements.
At UKCBC, we believe education should be open to all. That’s why we’ve worked with the University of West London to develop entry requirements that look beyond academic qualifications.
Each bachelor’s degree we teach includes a foundation year entry route designed specifically for mature learners (applicants over 21 years of age) that requires no academic qualifications. Instead, mature applicants will submit a CV and complete an entrance examination. If they pass the examination, they will be offered a position on the course. It’s as simple as that.
The entrance examination will give applicants the opportunity to explain their professional aims and how the course can help them achieve those aims. Applicants are also given the chance to talk about their work experience and how that prepares them for the academic challenges of a degree.
