UKCBC College Facilities in London & Essex

The UKCBC is always looking to improve the facilities we provide to ensure quality and excellence. Therefore, our tutorial rooms at UKCBC include computers, an overhead projector (OHP), audio visual equipment and an integrated audio system. Our continuous reinvestment initiative means an increase in the number of machines in all rooms, in addition to the existing lab facilities.

Our library is very valuable to our students. The ambience within the library is very relaxed and quiet so students can work effectively, whether it be for research purposes or to complete coursework assignments. There is also a wide range of books to help students with their studies, for AAT or HND.

Across the campuses, students can benefit from an array of books, including core texts, best sellers, and additional reading materials to help students reach their fullest potential. The library is also a place where students can conduct online research, and where we have computers available in the library for students to utilise.

UKCBC provides a large student common area, allowing freedom for students to socialise and catch up on coursework assignments. Within the student common area there are vending machines offering snacks and drinks, both hot or cold. Additionally, the college offers a self-contained kitchen and food preparation area with access to a fridge, microwave and kettle.

The conference/board room can be used to conduct all kinds of meetings. Students may utilise this facility for group work or meetings on request. In addition to our staff, students are invited here for staff-student liaising committee meetings, allowing student reps to voice their opinions to the college.

No matter on the campus in question, there are computer labs at every UKCBC campus equipped with high speed network connections, scanners and printers. In addition, we provide a wireless service, which enables students and staff members to access the service at various locations within the college. The IT Department provides a help desk service to those at the college, for help and advice on technical issues.

Our online e-Learning facilities enable students to access their course materials, lecture notes, assignment briefs, progress of assignment submissions, exam registrations, exams results, and up to date information on the college developments taking place. Students can access the college E-Learning facilities facilities from the college campus network or remotely via the internet.
