June sees the return of the Annual AAT Conference: 2 days, 20 workshops and 300 accountants
The AAT Annual Conference, held this year at the De Vere Beaumont Estate in the beautiful village of Old Windsor, will provide accountants with the perfect setting to share ideas, network and keep abreast of the potential challenges they must be prepared for in the future.
The wide range of issues covered over the two-day conference means that, whether you’re just getting started in accounting or you’ve been in the game for years, you’ll leave with new skills and knowledge that will help you make informed decisions in your accountancy role.
The conference kicks off on Thursday, 8 June and will see around 300 accounting professionals attending events across two days. Highlights for Thursday include a session hosted by Toni Trevett on the biggest changes in employment law, and an interactive conference on cyber security. The cyber security session will help educate audience members on the types of situations they may face in the future. A simulated security breach will be initiated, and the audience will be polled on what steps should be taken to limit the impact.
Check back tomorrow for another post covering details on Friday’s events, networking at the conference, and the AAT Professional Member Awards.
